A cradle Catholic living behind a pine tree near the intersection of Alabama, Florida and Georgia, my interests (besides people, food and survival in uncertain times) include evangelization and apologetics. Originating in Ohio I accumulated most of my B.S. from places other than the University of Cincinnati where I accidentally was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree. I remain proud of three years in the Army and a tour in Vietnam.
My modest acreage has a history of neglect which I hope to correct before leaving earth. Most visitors have an unverified story about this place. Supposedly there is a still somewhere near the southwest corner of the land but I have never found it. Whiskey Willie, a Cocker Spaniel, oversees the property when he is awake.
Living life at a slower pace allows plenty of time to think. Hopefully, you will find my musings insightful and even entertaining.
